About the Artist

Chuck Cassell is a watercolor artist whose work reflects his thirty-five year career as a partner with Burnidge, Cassell Associates, Architects.  He is a self-taught artist. His paintings are highly realistic and are based on photographs with an emphasis on landscapes and historically significant buildings and landmarks.  His artwork has been shown in the following galleries and exhibitions:

Several of his paintings are on permanent exhibit at the Elgin City Hall and The Norris Center in St Charles .

Chuck supports many local not-for-profit organizations through the donation of his paintings which are sold at fund-raising events. He currently serves on the City of Elgin, Cultural Arts Commission.
